This is my 4 year old, Max.  I got him in November 2007 from a re-homing centre.
His previous family were no longer able to keep him due to an illness in the family and reluctantly
had to find a new home for him as they were unable to give him the exercise he deserves.
Luckily he was only in the re-homing centre for a few days (this photo was taken of him relaxing there!).
He now lives with me and my little boy who's 5. 

As you can see he's a big, strong lad.  He's got a fantastic personality.
His favourite walk is through the forest near our house and he spends ages leaping over fallen trees like a show jumper!  We're soon going to start training classes and if things work out we would like to do agility as well. 

His favourite treat is apples and he will go to any lengths to get some!  When I come back from the supermarket I have to hide them in a cupboard well out of his reach as when I first got him he ate a whole fruit bowl full of them when I wasn't looking!

We keep in touch with his previous owners and regularly send them photos and updates of how Max is getting on.
