BUSTER

Buster Ellis was the first German Shepherd of the Ellis Clan.
It was April 1999 (he was just over 3 months old) and although there were half a dozen more German Shepherds, Buster was the one who we all connected with. That night we took him home and named him Buster. Buster had many problems throughout his life. It started as he started to grow. All the money spent on vets bills didn't matter though. We treated him as a human being.

He was loyal, caring, loving (except to the postman) and enjoyed his long walks. Buster was a very protective dog and was only loving to a handful of people outside of our family. In 2001 we rescued a girl German Shepherd called Annie and they didn't get off to the best start but in time, despite their occasional 'lovers tiffs' they were inseparable. Buster continued to have problems but we cared for him through them and made his life a better quality.

His last week happened so fast. He went downhill quickly which was good because he didn't suffer as much I guess. The day before it happened, he seemed to be fine in the morning then throughout the day gradually seemed to lose feeling in his back legs. It was heartbreaking to see him as he could hardly move. On 21st April 2008, at nine years old, the day came to let him go. He'll never be forgotten.

Rest In Peace sweetie. Lots of Love always, Gareth, Yvonne, Tom, Carrie and Annie. xxx
