Sammy Basil 'Sausages' Needham
24th September 1995 - 2nd October 2009

When my mum told us we we're getting a puppy I was beside myself with happiness.
I was 6 years old, you we're beautiful and small and so very perfect, my mum wanted to name you Jerry but my dad hated that name and instead we settled with Sammy.

We grew old together just you and me, I had such an incredible bond with you.
Id love how you had the best personality and made me giggle at the simplest things you did.

You met so many of my boyfriends and somehow it was like you knew who was right and who was wrong for me

My fondest memories of you are Christmas time when mum baked sausage rolls and you thought you'd help yourself to a few when everyone was out of the room, it made me giggle how it stuck out your mouth with a pipe and mum and dad questioned each other as to who had given it to you, they found out soon enough lol!. And the second memory was the lamb joint that was beautifully cooked, you decided you wanted that too and oops, all gone again even the bones lol..Ill just miss what effects you had on me, you always managed to make me smile even on a bad day.

You passed away today (2/10/09) at 5:50pm. We all decided it was best for you to rest as your back legs didn't work too well and your lymph nodes we're very swollen and it was a high possibility of cancer, so we decided to let you go and play with the angels rather than see you be very poorly.
