I lost
my darling old girl Danca in January 2007 due to breast cancer.
I put her
to sleep with all of us around her giving her kisses and telling her how
much we loved her.
Danca was my foundation girl for my breeding program
and she produced beautifully as with her children
Danca was ten
years and seven months of age when she went to the bridge and I am ever
so grateful that I had her in my life for that period of time. When we
lost her we arranged to have her buried with her children etc and
decided to buy a statue in her honor. We found one sitting with a lead
in its mouth a German Shepherd of course. Danca always carried her lead
in her mouth. It was meant to be and we got the last two as I bought
one for my niece Laura. You can see it above.

Now
Georgie. My darling Georgie was put to rest on November 30th ten years
and three months young.
She too had cancer and with a heavy heart I took
her to the vet and peacefully put her to sleep. I stayed with her to the
very end and then for about ten minutes after that. I had lost my two
girls in one year and though they are reunited I always thought I would
have my Danca and Georgie. Georgie gave birth to an unexpected two
puppies one male and one female six months before her death. The female
survived and I called her Danca after her grandmother. I never kept a
Georgie daughter and I am sure this was her way of telling me her time
was near. Danca is now seven months of age and very much like her mum. I
have to state that when it comes time for Danca to be mated I will keep
a girl from her and her name will be Georgie. There will always be a Danca and
Georgie in my yard. I loved both these girls and miss them so
much. Run free my angels I love you forever.
